Scope

This specification covers a water resistant lubricant in the form of grease procured in inch/pound units. MAM 3053 is the metric version of this AMS. This grease has been used typically for lubrication of high speed main shaft bearings of missiles and turbine engines, but usage is not limited to such applications.
