Scope:

This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, and stock for forging or heading.

These products have been used for parts, such as turbine rotors, shafts, blades, bolts, dowels, and fittings, requiring high strength up to 1600 °F (871 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 °F (982 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
