Scope

This SAE Recommended Practice applies to permanently installed gasoline fuel systems in personal watercraft as defined in 2.2, except fuel systems on outboard engines.

This document specifies guidelines for fuel systems of personal watercraft. This document is intended as a guide toward standard practice and is subject to change to keep pace with experience and technical advances.
