Rationale:

Copper contamination in jet fuel has long been regarded as an important facator in reducing the thermal stability of jet fuels resulting in thermal break down of the jet fuels and deposit formation on fuel system components. The rationale for this AIR is to bring critical, available information together in one document to provide information to fuel system and fuel system component designers, as well as engine and iarframe OEMs and operators.
