Nickel Alloy, Corrosion and Heat-Resistant, Investment Castings

Scope:

These castings have been used typically for structural parts requiring strength up to 1350 °F (732 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 °F (982 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.

Rationale:

Spec was developed for a higher temperature capability cast version of IN718 as part of a Metals Affordability Initiative (MAI). Multiple users are interested in in using this document (GE, Honeywell).
